Circuit:
In order to power some general microcontroller projects and a small number of supporting devices a simple linear power supply was required, to this end a 7805 regulator(+5V 1Amax)and a LM1117-3.3 regulator (+3.3V 800mAmax)were employed as below:
Stripboard:
Once the design was finalised it was transferred onto stripboard.
As Built:
The as built circuit appeared as below and supplies regulated +3.3V and +5V from a fused +12V supply.
Further Modifications:
Since the initial build the stripboard was modified in order to accommodate solder outputs, fused 12V was also made available.
The number of wired outputs was then increased for multi board projects.
